Instant Pot Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
- ¼ 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ 2 teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)
- ½ cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
- ½ cup pumpkin purée 🎃

- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice

Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, whisk together warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add pumpkin purée, melted butter, egg, vanilla, salt, and pumpkin spice. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and knead until a soft dough forms. (If sticky, add a little more flour.)
- Knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 2: Proof the Dough in the Instant Pot
- Grease the Instant Pot liner and place the dough inside.
- Select the Yogurt function and set it to 30 minutes to proof until doubled in size.
Step 3: Make the Filling & Roll the Dough
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice.
- Roll out the dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the sugar-spice mixture evenly.
- Roll up the dough tightly from the long side and slice into 12 even rolls.
Step 4: Second Proof & Cook in Instant Pot
- Grease a 7-inch baking pan and arrange the rolls inside.
- Cover loosely with foil.
- Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot and place a trivet inside.
- Place the pan on the trivet, seal the lid, and select Steam for 25 minutes.
- After cooking, allow a 10-minute natural release before opening the lid.
Step 5: Prepare the Frosting & Serve
- Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- Spread over warm cinnamon rolls and serve immediately!
