Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Basting brush

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wings, split into flats and drumsticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Notes

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Wings

  1. In a bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well coated.

Step 2: Air Fry the Wings

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden and crispy on the outside, and cooked through on the inside.

Step 3: Make the Honey Sriracha Glaze

  1. While the wings cook, whisk together the honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil (if using) in a small bowl until smooth and combined.

Step 4: Coat the Wings

  1. Once the wings are done cooking, remove them from the air fryer.
  2. Toss the crispy wings in the honey sriracha glaze until they are fully coated. You can also use a basting brush to evenly apply the glaze.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for added flavor and a fresh touch.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, like ranch or blue cheese.

Pro Tips for Perfect Honey Sriracha Wings:

For extra crispy wings, spray the basket with a little cooking spray before adding the wings.
Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha based on your preference.
For a smoky flavor, try adding a little smoked paprika to the wings before cooking.
Double the glaze if you want extra for dipping or to drizzle more on top after coating.
