Ingredients
- 4 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 2 tbsp butter (softened)

Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Bread- Place the slices of bread on a cutting board.
- Spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Flip two slices over (buttered side down) and place 2 slices of cheese on the unbuttered side of each.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the sandwiches in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. If necessary, cook one sandwich at a time.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- Open the air fryer and carefully flip the sandwiches using a spatula.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and let them cool for about 2 minutes.
- Slice in half and serve with your favorite side, such as tomato soup or a simple salad.
