Ingredients

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
- Boil whole potatoes for 6-7 minutes until slightly tender but still firm.
- Drain and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor.
- Squeeze out excess moisture using a cheesecloth or kitchen towel. Removing moisture helps the tots get crispy.
Step 2: Season the Mixture
- Place grated potatoes in a mixing bowl.
- Add flour (or cornstarch), salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika.
- Mix well until combined.

Step 3: Shape the Tater Tots
- Take about 1 tablespoon of potato mixture and roll it into a small oval or cylinder shape.
